Altus supports Goodacre’s staff mental health briefing

Altus is delighted to support the upcoming online and interactive briefing “Minding Staff Matters”.

Altus is delighted to support the upcoming online and interactive briefing “Minding Staff Matters”, hosted by specialist business and technology consultancy Goodacre on 13th of July.

Financial Services firms are dealing with the consequences of the pandemic to support clients in these uncertain times. The impact on staff however is also considerable, as people have had to get used to working from home and juggling home schooling, working and family lives. Goodacre’s briefing will aim to give practical steps that senior managers can take to support their teams and identify where staff are struggling to come to terms with the changing landscape.

Altus MD Kevin Okell comments: “This is a fantastic initiative and we are delighted to support Goodacre’s briefing. This is a topic that is very close to our heart. When the lockdown came into force, we were very keen to make sure that we support our staff through these very unsettling times.

Working from home during a pandemic brings many challenges, and the impact on physical and mental health cannot be ignored. We have put different steps in place, helping our staff with their home workstations, implementing a health and well-being policy, and appointing a team of Champions, who act as the first point of call for staff to raise any issues and concerns. We have also put in place a list of resources on our Intranet for staff to find information and services to help them with any issues they are facing.”

Goodacre’s online briefing takes place at 11 am on Monday 13th July and is free to attend. For more information and to register, please click here
