Altus donation provides 1,800 meals to vulnerable people

Specialist Financial Services software and consulting provider Altus chose to support FareShare with a donation providing 1,800 meals to vulnerable people this summer.

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. In 2020 / 2021 alone, FareShare helped 10,542 charities and community groups and provided food to over one million people.

Altus Managing Director Kevin Okell commented: “As a financial services company, we are only too aware of the impact the pandemic has had on vulnerable families. The past 18 months have seen an increase of people depending on charities and food bank to feed themselves and their families.

We were delighted to be able to support FareShare in its mission. The network has already had an incredible impact, and it is nice to know that our support means that 1,800 meals could be provided.”

Over the years, Altus has supported a number of charities whose mission is to support vulnerable people.
