We are thrilled to announce we have raised almost £6k for Bath’s Childrens Ward from our recent golf day.
This brings our total fundraising effort for Bath’s RUH to an incredible £11,894.
Altus is supporting the Children’s Ward at the Royal United Hospitals Bath to say thank you to the department for the care given to the daughter of one of our colleagues, who was born with a serious heart condition.
The charity’s mascot, Big Ted visited our office on 5 November for the cheque presentation.
Jo Common, Corporate Officer at The Forever Friends Appeal said: “We are so pleased to have had Altus’s support for a second year running, and their golfers certainly didn’t let the torrential rain dampen their spirits! We would like take this opportunity to thank the Altus team for their support.”
Martyn Evans, Consulting Director at Altus said: “Clara was born with an AVSD, and the Children’s Ward was instrumental in monitoring her condition. Along with her twin sister Martha, she spent a lot of time there before she was strong enough to have her operation. Clara has now undergone open heart surgery and the RUH team continue to monitor her progress and development. We wanted to give something back to thank the hospital for supporting her and her family during her stays.”
