Altus was founded in 2005 by a small group of friends who believed UK Financial Services could operate more efficiently and benefit from much better technology. Nearly two decades later, our company has become a recognised expert in the Life and Pension, Insurance, Investment, Banking and Wealth sectors, providing a unique brand of specialist consultancy and a series of market-leading software solutions for some of the industry’s most challenging problems.
With offices in Bath and London, we employ more than 110 people serving over 250 Financial Services clients in the UK, Europe and further afield. In 2021 we were acquired by global business solutions company Equisoft with Altus software products rebranded to Equisoft in January 2023. Altus Consulting has retained the Altus brand and our status as an independent management consulting business, providing strategic advice and delivering change to the Financial Services sector. We are extremely proud of the journey our business has made from a few desks at the Innovation Centre here in Bath to one that is now consistently recognised in the Financial Times list of leading UK management consulting firms.
