The Hub – Repair Workshop, Volunteering Day

The Hub – Repair Workshop, Volunteering Day

At a recent volunteering day we visited The Hub in Bradford-on-Avon, putting our colleagues skills to the test! This included sewing repairs, IT advice, bike maintenance, tool sharpening & much more. The Repair Cafe was a brilliant way for the local community to come along & bring in their items, it was also a fantastic way to reduce household waste.

Avril Clarke, Coordinator at The Hub commented:

The repair cafe went really well and it was appreciated by the local community. Several residents have already been into The Hub to ask when the next one will be.

We hope the success brought kudos to your company and it certainly promoted the Hub.

So a very big thank you to Alison Collier for organising it, the company for providing the staff and a particular vote of thanks to your lovely employers, who took part and rose to the challenges.
