Altus’ employee to cycle 320 miles in four days to raise money for charity

Ian Sparrowhawk, Risk & Compliance Manager at Altus, has covered 320 miles, the distance between Land’s End and London, in four days to raise money for the Wooden Spoon Charity.

The gruelling challenge saw Ian ride from 72.8 miles to 86.6 miles per day. The ride started in Land’s End on 24th August to end in Twickenham, London on the 27th of August. Ian’s chosen charity, Wooden Spoon, is the children’s charity of rugby and funds around 70 projects each year that support disadvantaged and disabled children. Wooden Spoon has distributed in excess of £24 million, helping over 1 million young people, since it was founded in 1983.

Ian has raised over £2,000 so far for Wooden Spoon. His fund raising page can be accessed here.
