Selling ESG in the 90s was like asking Shakespeare to write sitcom

Janine Menasakanian’s latest blog explores the pace of change in ESG. After all, this stuff is hardly a joke, is it?

Janine explains why it’s good that so many people are engaging with ESG, but the extent of the challenge needs a mature and joined-up response.

Though some may despair at the fact that anyone who knows what ESG actually stands for can now call themselves an ESG specialist, I actually thing it is a good thing that amateur experts are involved in the conversation.

The more people we have taking an interest, educating themselves and contributing to the ESG conversation, the quicker we can make progress. Is that not the definition of a movement?
