We can all agree that 2020 has been a hard year, particularly for those in the retail and hospitality industries.
Those sectors are vital to the local economy in our beautiful city of Bath and we are all missing the opportunities for post work drinks, coffee catchups or browsing the shops for that perfect secret Santa gift. The pandemic has had a major impact on visitor levels throughout 2020 and with the Christmas market being cancelled this year it feels more important than ever to support our local community.
This Christmas we wanted to thank our team for all the hard work during these difficult times and to do so in a way that gave back to our city at the same time! To do this, we gave our team the option to select a gift from some of our fantastic local businesses:
The alternative was that staff could choose to donate to their local food bank and we are thrilled to have raised an amazing £840. We know the demand for support this year will be more than ever and we are really pleased to be able to give a helping hand.
