Altus expands its Academy

Expansion of intensive one-year training programme designed to help young financial services professionals kick start their careers.

Financial services consultancy and software specialist Altus announces the expansion to its academy training programme.

Altus is opening up four positions across its Investments, Insurance, Digital and Delivery teams for the upcoming academic year, starting in September.  This will be the highest number of undergraduates that Altus has invested in in a single year and comes with an expansion to the range of training and development incorporated in the programme.

The Altus Academy is an intensive and comprehensive one-year induction programme specifically aimed at those with 5-10 years of industry experience.  The Altus Academy provides employees with a combination of training and practical work experience.  They will go on to graduate as consultants at the end of the programme.

Jack Berrisford is a current Altus Academy “undergraduate”. He commented: “The Altus Academy has given me the chance to be involved in a variety of client work. I have learnt a lot in my first six months, and the programme has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who is considering a career in management consultancy.”

Altus Consulting Director Martyn Evans added: “Altus Consulting was founded on the belief that financial services experience is essential in order to consult with integrity.  Our staff has always come from the industry and the Academy has allowed us to tap into a wealth of new talent, accelerating their development into management consultants.  We have been really pleased with how the programme has worked and are delighted to be investing more in expanding it this year.”

The Altus Academy is actively recruiting for a range of positions across the Consulting team.
