Altus bolsters Investments consulting practice with hires and promotions

Altus announces Ben Hammond as Director of its Investments consulting practice. Ben is stepping up from his current role of leading Platforms consulting at Altus.

The change comes as Janine Menasakanian departs for a role at Coutts and a new Life & Pensions Director, Robert Holford, joins from The Pensions Regulator (TPR).  Robert is a great addition to the team and brings extensive experience of planning and deploying strategies for pensions businesses, asset managers and regulators.

To support the growth of the Investments business, Altus is delighted to announce that Geoff Towers, former CEO of Pershing in UK & Europe, will also be working with the business as a Senior Advisor as part of his portfolio career.

Altus announces two other significant promotions with Rory Gravatt becoming Head of Distribution & Product Strategy and Jonathan Warren taking on the role of Head of Innovation, to provide increased support for its clients in digital distribution.  Two new hires, Nicola Flannigan and Ryan Lane have both also joined the expanded Investments team as Consultants, bringing extensive operational and change experience.

Martyn Evans, Consulting Director at Altus, commented: “It is exciting times at Altus as the business grows rapidly to support an expanding number of clients, with Investments consulting remaining a core strength.  Ben will do a great job leading this area of the business.  We are really pleased to be able to attract experienced industry talent to support our Investments consulting work, whilst also continuing in our tradition of developing and nurturing talent within the business”.

Hammond, who has been with the company since 2014, said:

“Having been a part of the Altus family for the last seven years and seeing it grow significantly in that time, I’m really looking forward to developing our existing practices and widening the remit of our Investments business.”
