  • David Jackson, Executive Chairman

    With 20 years experience in the Financial Services sector, David has a successful track record of bringing business and technology solutions to blue chip clients. David’s entrepreneurial spirit triggered the launch of Altus and his continued drive and customer centric view of the world has resulted in an enviable Altus client list which includes AXA, Aegon, Fidelity, Capita, Standard Life, Lloyds Banking Group and Zurich. As Executive Chairman and co-founder of Altus, David has overall responsibility for strategy and planning, business development, commercial and operations. Results oriented, he has overseen double digit growth every year since the company was founded.

  • Kevin Okell, Managing Director

    Kevin has spent 25 years helping Financial Services companies improve their performance through a combination of software and operational efficiency. As a founding Director of Altus, Kevin has ensured that deep business understanding coupled with robust engineering underpin everything Altus does. From the comprehensive industry models which underpin our consulting work to the painstaking data analysis which makes our software systems so reliable, Kevin is passionate about rigour. In parallel with his systems evangelism, Kevin also leads the Altus response on investment industry issues. He has written articles for several trade publications, presented at industry conferences on both regulatory and operational topics and is the Altus representative on a number of industry bodies.

  • Martyn Evans, Consulting Director

    Having spent almost his entire career in the Life, Pensions & Investment, Banking and General Insurance sectors in both business and technical roles, Martyn has first-hand experience of the challenges facing FS businesses today. He has been working on behalf of clients in consultancy and change delivery roles for over 25 years, developing an intimate understanding of this relationship and how best to deliver value for the customer. As Consulting Director Martyn is responsible for ensuring Altus continues to deliver that same value to all of its clients, through a dedicated and professional team of consultants. Having been with Altus from its earliest days Martyn has helped develop many of the techniques and services that shape Altus Consulting.

  • Mark Andrews, Domain Director – General Insurance

    Mark has been working in Financial Services for 15 years and has been with Altus since 2007. Having set up the General Insurance (GI) practice within Altus Consulting, he now shapes Altus’ GI propositions as well as being delivery lead on many client engagements. He has led the development of Altus’ comprehensive General Insurance Models that the company uses to help to solve a number of complex problems that clients come across in this sector. Mark stays well-informed on the ever changing insurance landscape, appearing in industry publications, panel discussions and networking at industry events.

  • Simon Bussy, Domain Director - Wealth

    With over 20 years operating across Life & Pensions, Retail Platform, Retail Banking Wealth Management, and technology suppliers in UK and overseas, and underpinned with an MA in Strategic Marketing, Simon has a wealth of experience and successful track record in leading teams to understand the market environment, define winning strategies and design, develop and deliver new propositions. Simon heads up the Wealth Domain at Altus and is an authority on the evolving Digital (‘robo’) advice sector.   • Matthew Scott, Domain Director - Platforms

    As a consultant with Altus since 2006, Matthew has been a key contributor to the creation and shaping of the Altus approach to business architecture. Specialising in Investment & Wrap platforms in both retail and corporate markets Matthew has worked with a wide range of Financial Services businesses in the UK and Europe, including AXA, AEGON, Lloyds Banking Group, Friends Provident, Ascentric and Novia. Matthew has presented at several industry conferences and runs many of the Altus training courses on business architecture techniques.

  • Chris McCullam, Head of Business Architecture

    Chris has over 20 years experience within the Financial Services industry, spanning Friendly Society door-to-door cash collection through to wrap platforms and high-net-worth advisor firms. The last 8 years have been with Altus, where he is a Principal Consultant advising clients on definition of target operating models, selection of new technologies and the shaping of strategic and operational change initiatives. From technical work on back office system integrations and definition of messaging architecture to business focused process improvement and propositional changes, Chris has brought his pragmatic and systematic problem solving approach to offer creative solutions within challenging business constraints. With CII and CISI qualifications Chris has developed a broad understanding of the regulatory landscape and is heavily involved in Altus work across RDR, PRIPS and MiFID.

  • Michael James, Head of Technical Architecture

    With extensive experience working in Banking, Insurance, lending, and Investment platforms, Michael has a track record of defining and delivering IT solutions in complex environments for the financial services industry. Michael operates confidently and effectively at both strategic and operational levels and is an influencer that creates positive business outcomes at all levels. Bringing pragmatism and good problem solving to clients, he balances strategy and governance against delivery and agility to bring early concepts to the table then into reality. Since joining Altus Michael has: helped clients define architectural approaches for customer propositions, drive the delivery of new key extranet applications for customers over multiple and legacy platforms and headed architectural selection of software and suppliers.
