The Altus IT team provide an integral role in the running of our business and we are now looking for an IT Service Team Leader to support all aspects of our corporate IT. 

Responsibilities

  • Management of the IT Support function
  • Day to day responsibility for junior IT staff
  • Maintenance of the central company IT infrastructure to ensure the integrity and availability of all services including:
    • Server administration
    • Network administration including telephony
    • Data and service backups and resilience
    • DR infrastructure and processes
  • Management and support of all end user devices
    • Desktop and laptop PCs
    • Mobile devices
    • Audio/Visual systems

Essential Skills:

  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows 10 PCs
  • Office 365 experience
  • Experience of supporting business production systems
  • Virtualisation, especially HyperV
  • Thorough understanding of backup and recovery mechanisms
  • Experience of cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure
  • Enthusiasm to take ownership of the IT service and to play a part in developing the success of the business.

An ideal candidate would also have:

  • Team leader or task management experience
  • Experience of working in a Microsoft development environment
  • Experience in an ITIL environment
  • Experience of working in a financial services organisation
