HMRC have supported electronic filing of PAYE returns alongside the traditional paper returns for some time. However, companies with more than 50 employees must now file end of year returns on-line and HMRC have announced that paper returns will no longer be supported at all by 2010.
The Altus PAYE Gateway handles employer end of year returns, in-year returns, and expenses and benefits forms. Submissions can be made from employers or their agents. Our product has successfully passed HMRC recognition tests.
The Altus PAYE Gateway can be used alongside the Altus Pensions Gateway to support PAYE returns for pension and annuity income including the new HMRC requirements for Retirement Annuity PAYE returns from April 2007.
