The emergence of the ViaNova market practice has been an important step towards automating the investment process, but STP requires more than just message transmission. Altus has taken a step back from message standards and communication protocols to look at the whole business process. Before even thinking about a technical solution we spent a lot of time working with leading pension administrators to see how they can benefit most from STP. The Altus Instruction Gateway is the end result of this research and the latest addition to our suite of Information Logistics products for Financial Services.
