MNPA completes first fully automated e-filing returns

MNPA Limited (MNPA) has become the first pension scheme administrator to successfully submit electronic Accounting For Tax returns to the HMRC Pension Scheme Service using a fully automated XML interface.
A growing number of administrators are using the HMRC on-line forms for e-filing but MNPA has gone a step further and implemented Altus Pensions Gateway to deliver a Straight-Through solution that requires no re-keying of existing data.
MNPA Finance Director, Nigel Downey commented “Aside from the obvious efficiency savings of piping data directly from our systems to the HMRC, Altus Pensions Gateway also guarantees that no errors creep into that data and that we have a full audit trail of the whole extraction and submission process. We are extremely pleased with the whole solution”.
