Altus launch hosted e-filing service

Altus has launched a hosted e-filing service to complement its existing range of e-filing products. The new service supports PAYE, Pension and Employee Share Scheme returns, and will provide a more cost effective solution for smaller companies wishing to automate e-filing.
January 2008 sees the first deadline for the new annual pension scheme returns introduced as part of the A-Day reforms. Although the Altus service supports a number of reporting regimes it is this deadline in particular that has prompted the launch. Ben Cocks, Product Manager at Altus,
said: “The hosted service allows our clients to automate e-filing without having to make any infrastructure changes – all they need is an Internet connection. We can get new clients up and running in as little as a day and this agility will be important as the January pension e-filing deadline approaches.”
