Altus is a small but growing specialist consultancy, providing business and systems solutions to the Financial Services industry. We have built an excellent reputation for implementing effective solutions for a growing list of clients. This success is a result of combining our knowledge of financial services with a practical and structured approach to solution architecture. By understanding the technology implications of the business challenges facing our clients, we consistently deliver real value to our customers.

We are currently looking for Solution Designers / Architects to join our consultancy team. You’ll be working directly with our clients to ensure that their IT projects successfully deliver what their business actually needs, and demonstrating the advantages of the Altus approach. Some work will be alongside other Altus consultants, but you’ll often be working independently. Whatever work you’re doing you’ll have full backup from experienced members of our team.

We want people who have proven themselves in software development and design, and who are looking for greater challenges through a move into solutions design / architecture. Being able to design a single system, and articulate that design is a key skill, and we can help you develop the additional skills necessary to pull together entire solutions spanning multiple systems. As a small team we value clear thinking, enthusiasm and commercial nous over years of experience, although some experience of working in the financial services sector would certainly help.
