Successful candidates will probably be working currently as business or systems analysts and relish the challenge of broadening their horizons.

- Visualisation – able to spot the right picture for the right audience, abstract the crucial elements of a business issue and boil them down to essentials.
- Big-Picture thinking – instinctively takes a step back from any issue to see the broader perspective.
- Communication – knows how to network with key stakeholders to create support and consensus for a vision.
- Engineering approach – spots recurring issues and develops repeatable methods to address them.
- Technology – an appreciation of the common application types used in the FS industry and some experience of design and/or implementation of systems.
