The Sun Gods Shine on Altus Again

For the second year running the Altus Golf Day was bathed in sunshine at The Players Championship Course in Gloucester. And for the second year running the Altus Trophy headed to AXA after Chris Hubbard of AXA Distribution Services went round in an astonishing 2 over par gross for 43 Stableford points. 

The team prize, was a close thing but, with an impressive total of 51 points, eventually went to David Rushton (Lloyds Banking Group), Gareth Long (Friends Provident), Steve Bird (JLT) and our own Martyn Evans.

Despite strict instructions to let the customers win Martyn also took the prize for nearest the pin while Campbell Macpherson of Openwork bagged the longest drive prize with an absolute beauty. Meanwhile, down the field, Altus Consultancy Director Kevin Okell put in a much improved performance losing only 3 balls this year!
