Altus responds to RDR Platform paper

Altus today submitted its response to the recent FSA Discussion Paper on the RDR implications for Platforms (DP10/02). As with previous Altus responses, the focus is very much on operational impacts and the devil in the detail. Using our visualisation techniques we explored a number of business scenarios to understand the practical issues arising from different proposals in the DP. In the process we have highlighted some of the unforeseen interactions between different strands of the FSA’s thinking such as the tension between a proposed ban on rebates and the case for in-specie re-registration.
