Altus at BPM Europe 2011

17th Jun '11

Attendees at this year’s IRM UK Business Process Management conference heard Altus senior consultant Matthew Scott co-present our latest client case study with leading life insurer AEGON. The session highlighted the importance of distinguishing the building blocks of a business from the way they are pieced together in processes to deliver value. It showcased the benefits of using the Altus Business Capability and Process Frameworks. Martyn Johnson of AEGON described how the frameworks had helped AEGON condense over 4,000 disparate work items into an orderly model of just 500 objects and how they were using these models to build a leaner operation. As well as cataloguing the many benefits of this structured approach, Martyn also touched on some of the challenges AEGON had faced and singled out the importance of embedding the frameworks within the business.
