Punter Southall has selected the Altus Instruction Gateway to deliver Straight-Through Processing (STP) for both its DC and DB pension administration business. This is the latest in a series of recent sales successes for Altus and the deal covers the full range of Altus product options including automated dealing, reconciliation and cash settlement.

Sun shines on Altus golf day
The 2009 Altus Golf Day took place in glorious September sunshine last week at The Players Club Championship course, Gloucestershire. The Altus Trophy was won by Kevin Openshaw of AXA Investment Operations with 43 Stableford points, while the team prize went to John McCowan (Lloyds Banking Group), Paul McMahon (AXA Coporate Benefits), Kevin Jackson (Openworks) and our own Martyn Evans. On a challenging course with plenty of water hazards, the Altus team went through an alarming number of golf balls and made an impressively thorough job of letting the clients win! Consultancy Director Kevin Okell was stoic about the 10 balls he lost and vowed to be back next year with floating ones and a raft!

Xafinity Paymaster selects Altus for STP
Xafinity Paymaster is to introduce Straight Through Processing for DC Pension investments using the Altus Instruction Gateway. The initiative will go a step beyond other STP solutions in the market by automating the whole investment process right through to cash settlement and reconciliation and will dovetail with their banking systems from CashFac.
